Program Title: WINGS #46-18 Nanotechnology and Health - 28_49
Description: Nanoparticles are so small that they slip through normal regulatory loopholes; they are already in our food packaging, clothing, and cosmetics. Little is yet known about their effects, but they can behave in strange and likely dangerous ways. Feitshans calls for international harmonization of regulation and for the public to inform itself about what is in our midst.

Host(s): Frieda Werden
Featured Speakers/Guests: Ilise Feitshans [pronounced Fitzsan] directs The Work, Health and Survival Project. She is a lawyer with a PhD in international relations. Her dissertation was published in 2017 as "Forecasting Nano Law: Global Health Impacts."

Credits: Interview and editing by Frieda Werden for WINGS; studio courtesy CHLY-FM; board operator, Arbie Fru.

Comments: Re-released as information about the nano-coated cash register receipts and hormone disruption is starting to go viral
