Title: Shortwave Theatre Festival

Description: This series features original radio theatre performances written performed, directed and mixed by Kingston Ontario artists. These plays were recorded at and broadcasted from CFRC 101. 9 FM in Kingston, Ontario from November 1-7th 2020 as part of the Shortwave Theatre Festival, a collaborative project CFRC undertook over 1.5 years with local theatre company, Cellar Door Project.
Cellar Door Project founder Mariah Horner was the Festival Director and CFRC Station Manager Dinah Jansen was the Festival's Executive Producer.

The Series features 5 original plays and 5 artists talkbacks.

The project was funded by The City of Kingston Arts Council, Ontario Arts Council, the Dan School of Drama and Music and the Department of Film and Media at Queen's University.
