Description: The world of self publishing is growing every month. Both aspiring authors, and authors that have previously been published traditionally, are turning to the option of self publishing. Recently, Canadian poet Shane Koyczan utilized crowd funding to raise money to self publish his next collected work of poetry. Yet, while the number of works being released as self published grows, respect for the format seems to remain low.
This week, Common Air will be examining the world of self publishing. Canadian author Mary Walters spoke with us about her experiences with both publishing houses, self publishing, and shared advice for aspiring self publishing authors.
