Program Title: Endeavours 2.0 - Episode 6
Description: Matthew White is the artistic director of Early Music Vancouver who just kicked off their brand new season with Handel and His Rivals, featuring Grammy-winning soprano Amanda Forsythe and the Pacific Baroque Orchestra. They played a selection of arias from Handel, Porpora, Hasse and Veracini. White talks about his love of classical music, how it's not a dying art form, and why Handel has survived all these years.
Caravan Palace is a French electro-swing group from Paris. Initially a three-piece, they now boast six members, In 2014, they remixed Drake Bell's single Bitchcraft. They have appeared all across Europe and North America in support of their studio album Robot Face.
Kristi Charish is the author of The Voodoo Killings, which follows protagonist Kincaid Sinclair, who is both a seance conductor for graduate students looking for guitar lessons from her roommate - a long dead grunge rocker - as well as a friend to zombies, who keep getting killed off.
