Program Title: People First Radio: Life During COVID-19
Description: We’re all experiencing disruptions and big changes in our everyday lives. Some of us are on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic battle. Others may not have left home for some time, while others have been suffering from COVID-19 infection. Any scan of the news will turn up hundreds of stories about our collective, human, experiences. Vancouver Island Mental Health Society’s People First Radio project is focusing on Life During Covid-19, sharing personal stories and perspectives from a range of citizens.
Host(s): Kevin Midbo
Featured Speakers/Guests: Von Allan lives and works from his home in the Vanier neighbourhood in Ottawa, Ontario. Von is an artist and comics creator; his latest work is the ongoing comics project Wolf’s Head. He’s appeared on People First Radio previously and we wanted to catch up with him to hear his perspectives on the pandemic.
