Program Title: People First Radio: Life During COVID-19
Description: We’re all experiencing disruptions and big changes in our everyday lives. Some of us are on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic battle. Others may not have left home for some time, while others have been suffering from COVID-19 infection. Any scan of the news will turn up hundreds of stories about our collective, human, experiences. Vancouver Island Mental Health Society’s People First Radio project is focusing on Life During Covid-19, sharing personal stories and perspectives from a range of citizens.
Host(s): Kevin Midbo
Featured Speakers/Guests: Jason Gauthier is a parent, a barber, a helper, an artist and a survivor. He lives in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, where his just-opened Straight Edge barbershop was forced to close due to the pandemic, and his Street Cuts Barber front-line work with homeless and poor citizens had to end.
