Program Title: Fit to Eat Season 2 Episode 29.5
Description: This week on "Fit to Eat" we reprise a visit from awhile back - when we used to travel with only the fear that flights would be delayed or that our carry-on luggage wouldn't fit in the compartment. Ah, the good old days. Join us as we head to an area of the world that has many similarities to our own, but enough differences to make it intriguing - Iceland. I visit with a sheep farmer (and then the Vice-Speaker of the Northeast Constituency of the Icelandic Parliament), þórarinn Ingi Pétursson. We talk about the challenges of marketing sheep in a world that is obsessed with chicken meat, about telling the story of farmers to urban areas, and why Icelandic meat is possibly the purest in the world. Among other things. And we listen to some truly cool Icelandic music!
