Title: Classic Canadian Rock

Description: Classic Canadian Rock is a weekly produced comedy/ music radio program, showcasing the best Canada has to offer. Hosted by Prince George’s very own Garrett Perry and Karl Wyssen Classic Canadian Rock was originally produced for 93.1 CFIS fm, several months after the original air date, 88.7 CFUR picked up for their stations listeners. The show is an hour long format broken down into 3 nineteen minute segments, designed to have a minute break in between segments and at the end of the show.

One of the regular segments on the show is the UFC report where Karl breaks down in brief the latest UFC event.

Though the show is called Classic Canadian Rock, the only consistent descriptive word in the title is Canadian. The genre of music is geared to rock, but we typically stretch from folk to heavy metal, though it’s not uncommon that we play a rap song in the mix. We do play the classics but we like to keep things fresh here at Classic Canadian Rock. We play brand new music, and unknown artists all the time. With a 100% MAPL playlist the CRTC loves this show.
