Title: Revisitation: The Dock Theft

Description: On June 15, 2013, a dock went missing from the Fredericton Rowing Club. The unimaginable culprit fueled national news stories, radio announcer punchlines, and watercooler talk for days to come. Over the last several years, I’ve interviewed a dozen people trying to make sense of this viral news story, all while searching for the man himself, in hopes I could ask him about his adventure. Revisitation: The Dock Theft features music tied to our story’s setting, the Wolastoq/Saint John River. This comprehensive soundtrack features songs about the river by big names such as Neko Case, The Weather Station, and Jeremy Dutcher; contributions from regional artists, including a concept album and full orchestral symphony devoted to the river, and; a focus on Wolastoqiyik music. At a time when I couldn’t physically get there, this series also became something of a love letter to my hometown.
