Fortunately we can reduce cost by insulating our homes better, turning down the thermostat a little, wearing sweaters, and upgrading our home heating systems.
To help Gabriolans reduce our environmental footprint, and to save money, an island-based organization known as Sustainable Gabriola has been making available a very efficient heat pump to those who live on the island.
